Day 1 : FISHING HELL

So with 5 silver and a few coppers in my pocket I had to decide the best way forward, then I had a brain wave. . .fishing. . of course, buy the skill, catch teh fish, sell the fish. . .HUZZAH. Its after about 20 minutes I realise fishing sucks. . can get 1 or 2 copper per fish and unless you buy lures, which defeats the object since I can catch enough fish to make about an eighth of the price of the lure, this will take forever. .. . this aint gonna make me profit enough to get going on the AH. . .
Though Lurky seems to like my pool side location its time to think of other money makeing methods to get me started. . .


Time to go shopping
So off to teh enchanters shop to buy up and cheap recipe and sell it for some profit on the AH to get me started. . .Checking through the AH Enchant Chest is a possible target. Lots on their, does this mean they don't sell? But I am willing to beat all prices on there, even though some a lot lower than the usual asking price. . well spending half my cash I go ahead and slap it on the AH

Well all that was last night, so far it aint sold and away for the weekendf, lets see what Sunday night brings

In the beginning there was. . .

OK, so my playing time on a full scale in World of Warcraft is down a little right now, due to eye operations and various other gubbins, soooo I thought I would try a little experiment, to see how much money I could make with a toon just living in Ogrimar and with the money off his own back from teh start. . . well didn't go totally to plan. . but well here is the beginning of my little trial. . are we sitting comfortably?

So on with my running shoes I jog along the road, avoiding snouts and pincers as I go to teh bright lights and howls of Ogrimmar.. where I spend far too much time setting up my UI for an Auction toon. . . ;)



So I pops myself off to the pretty cow lady, I call her this mainly since she deals in the sales of BOOOMSTICKS and I ain't gonna mess with a lady with a gun. I sell her all my gear and look at my paulty 15cp in my hand. . . . off to the AH anyway to see if there is anything I can buy. . guess what. . . bugger all. A change of plans is needed if I am to do anything here

Soo back to the starting area. I decided to allow myself to level up to level 5 and use any income I get from that to start my Auction House business.. there was mush blood spilled. . and a few copper pieces gathered. Started out wrong by completing a couple of quests. . thus cutting down on my time to lvl 5, and getting no cash from completing the quests. So off I go to farm imps. Imps drop a few copper, about 3ish each, and some odds and ends to seel as well.
Getting a little bored of punching imps, thought I would try my luck on the centaurs just outside the gate, not too bad unless a scorpion joins in too, but loot was a bit cac .. . so back to teh imps I went..



Back then to Ogrimmar, a pop to the post box to pick up my companions for this journey. . . and then to decide where to take it from there.




I'll update as much as possible when I log on, if there's anybody interested out there in watching how this little experiment goes......
